The product
Multi Cover Breathable from Easydek is very permeable self-adhesive fleece for newly laid floors. Multi Cover Breathable consists of multiple layers. The bottom layer is a lightweight adhering fibrous fleece. Then a membrane that is water permeable from the bottom, and waterproof from the top. This means that Multi Cover Breathable will not influence the curing of newly laid floors. Multi Cover Breathable has the highest permeability: 2 litres/m² per 24 hours. In addition, it has an anti-slip coating. This coating is impervious to water, which means you do not have to worry about placing it on newly laid floors.
Usage
During new construction, renovations, and maintenance work, Multi Cover Breathable provides safe protection for natural stone, concrete floors, and poured cement floors. These are expensive types of floors that always need to breathe because of the floor’s natural properties. Sealing off such floors, in a manner that prevents water evaporating, can cause discolourations, pockets of water, and even deformations. Thanks to the water permeable membrane, you can use Multi Cover Breathable to safely cover all floors to prevent these being damaged. Use Multi Cover Breathable for work activities where you want to protect the floor against possible damage. Multi Cover Breathable can also be used outside thanks to the waterproof top layer.
Multi Cover Breathable is available in rolls. The rolls are rolled up with an anti-slip coating on the outside so that the product can be used quickly and easily. Simply unroll it by hand or with the foot. You do not need to seal the seams. It is easy to remove Multi Cover Breathable by simply rolling up the fleece. As soon as the floor can be walked on, Multi Cover Breathable can be placed on it without any kind of restriction.
Properties
Thanks to the water-resistant adhesion layer, Multi Cover Breathable remains fixed in place. This ensures the workplace is safe without any risk of slipping or stumbling. The water and/or moisture can evaporate thanks to the permeable membrane. The strong material is shock absorbing and reusable.
